Aaron Grinhaus
Aaron Grinhaus is a Toronto lawyer whose practice focuses on business law, tax and estate planning, including commercial transactions, corporate reorganizations, professional corporations and asset protection and securitization.
Mr. Grinhaus holds law degrees from the University of Ottawa, Michigan State University College of Law and a Masters in Tax Law from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University.
Mr. Grinhaus regularly speaks for professional development programs and is faculty and co-director of Osgoode Hall Law School’s “Blockchains, Smart Contracts, and the Law” Certificate program. He is also the author of the textbooks “A Practical Guide to Smart Contracts and Blockchain Law” (LexisNexis: 2019; 2nd Ed. 2022), and “Blockchain and Smart Contract Law: US and International Perspectives” (LexisNexis: 2022).
Mr. Grinhaus regularly advises clients on corporate and estate structuring and planning, both simple domestic and highly complex cross-border structuring. He is also an experienced business, tax, and Fintech consultant, who advises clients on legal and regulatory matters related to Web3 technologies.
