Nirusha Thayaal

Nirusha is in her final semester of her Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences at UBC, setting her sights on law school in 2025. Driven by a commitment to justice and equality, she aspires to a career in international and human rights law. Nirusha joined Parr Business Law as a legal assistant following an internship with a legal clinic, bringing a background in advocacy and a thoughtful approach to her work.

When she isn’t dealing with client communications and legal documentation, she’s deeply involved in social justice initiatives on campus, currently serving as President of UBC UNICEF and contributing to UBC’s Pre Law Association and the AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre. When she’s not working or studying, Nirusha loves spending time dancing, cooking, baking, and watching Tamil cinema with her four little sisters.
